CORRECT ANSWERS FROM SIMON:

1. stamina
2. credentials
3. passion
4. independent
5. supervisor
6. institutions
7. contact
8. proposal

Hi Simon,
I've got a small issue with the last answer - 8. proposal; my choice is "idea", and it appears in the conversation as ""idea of proposal". Isn't "idea" the more important word here (perhaps you may call it "the head word"

Please clarify.
Thanks much!

Hi Simon
the correct answer is credentials or credential
it is extremely hard to hear the form

1 stamina
2 credentials
3 passion
4 independent
5 supervisor
6 institutions
7 contact
8 idea

Iceman,

I think 'proposal' is the important word here. 'Idea' is a bit too vague - it's the proposal that the supervisor will help with.

...

ChuDu,

Yes, it's impossible to hear what is actually said. However, the normal expression in English is always in the plural - we talk about our 'credentials'. Also, you would expect to hear an article before the singular (i.e. "a credential" - as I said, it's not normal to use 'credential' in the singular anyway).

2. credentials
3. passion
4. independent
5. potential supervisor
6. institutions
7. contact
8. proposal
