No problem Anna.

Simon can you help me for my Ielts preparation especially for writing. I open your site but I don't understand how to use it. Plz send me few links so I can join ur site and fow u regularly. Regards

Hi Simon,
What else we can use instead of word "given" in their writing task 1.
I would be grateful if you could provide advice on this.

Absolutely right Simon. This annoys examiners because it is unnatural.

Also, don't write 'below' because when we correct your writing, there is no chart below.

Don't write anything! Just say 'the chart shows/illustrates' etc.

Hi Simon

I am going to take ielts this saturday. I've urgent question about writing task 1. Is it alright to write "men SAW A RISE in the percentage of..... "?

Hi SJM, I hope u don't mind to answer my question above 😊

Sorry, I've one question more especially about unnecessary words. What about saying 'SHOWN'? If I'm not wrong I ever read 'the period shown' in Simon's essay 😊

the graph reaveals the information on.........

is it better
