B - As little as “one to two runs per week, or three to six miles per week, and well less than an hour per week” can be quite beneficial, he said.

B

B and C look very close answers, but i used B; because the both paragraphs are about running suggestions. There is a no surprise finding about running.

I choose C because "surprising findings" in the question just refer to "some evidence" in the passage.

D

According to a new review…… .As little as “one to two runs per week…” can be quite beneficial, he said. >>>advantage

However, ….Some evidence, he said, … an hour every day could slightly increase someone’s risks for heart problems, as well as for running-related injuries and disabilities. >>> disadvantage

D,it discussed about the advantages and disadvantages of running daily.

B

D is the right answer. Because: jogging less than one hour per day is good, but more is bad for health such as heart problems or injure.

sorry! i think B is the right answer. it is clearly to see how much, with D it is understand the regular (may be less than hour).

in my point of view, i am gona choose B because two following information:

+ jogging for as few as five or six miles per week could substantially improve someone’s health.

+ However, there may be an upper limit,...running strenuously for more than about an hour every day could slightly increase someone’s risks for heart problems.

My answer is B.
And "one to two runs per week, or three to six miles per week, and well less than an hour per week" is the best to improve health.

Explain:
"It seems like the maximum benefits of running occur at quite low doses" - Overrun like " running strenuously for more than about an hour every day could slightly increase someone’s risks for heart problems, as well as for running-related injuries and disabilities."
