The tables provide information regarding the sales of fairtrade-labelled coffee and banana in five European countries. They cover a five year period (1999 to 2004) and units are measured in millions of euros.

The table illustrates the changes in the sales of Fairtrade - labelled coffee and bananas across five different countries in Europe in 1999 and 2004.

The table compares five different countries in term of sales of Fairtrade-labelled bananas and coffee in 1994 and 2004.
It is apparent that in the UK sales of Fairtrade-labelled bananas and coffee were highest compared to the other nations, except 1999 when sales of coffee was slightly low than Denmark by 0.3 million euros. Whilst sales of bananas and coffee increased in most of countries from 1999 to 2004, however in Sweden and Belgium sales of bananas decreased from 1.8 to 1 million euros and 2 to 0.9 million euros respectively.
Looking at the graph in more detail, we can see that only in the UK coffee and bananas sales increased precipitously from 1.5 million euros to 20 million euros and 15 to 47 million euros respectively. In Switzerland coffee sales increased doubled in 2004, whereas banana sale escalated 5 times. In Denmark, Sweden and Belgium coffee sales increased from 0.2 to 0.7 million euros. Banana sale in Denmark rose by 3.4 million euros in 2004, whereas we saw decreased in bananas sales in Sweden and Blelgium.

The diagrams compare the sales of Fairtrade-labelled coffee and bananas between five different European nations in 1999 and 2004.

It is quite clear that ,all five countries showed an upward trend in the sales of Fairtrade - coffee and bananas in five year period. Among these countries , the UK had the largest rise in the sales of both the products over the same period.

The tables show the sales of two kinds of goods with fairtrade-lable in five different European countries in the two years 1999 and 2004.

Overall, the amounts of sales of coffee and bananas in five countries had increased by 2004 except in Belgium and Sweden where sales of bananas experienced a downward trend during the selected period.

Consumption of coffee was higher in Switzerland and Denmark in 1999 which generated €3m and €1.8m of sales respectively,whereas €1.5m of sales were recorded in UK. Respective figures in Belgium and Sweden were €1m and €0.8m. Although in 2004, dramatic rise in the sales figures by more than 13 times recorded in the UK and also doubled in Switzerland. Moreover, sales in other countries rose marginally.

Banana sales were €15m in the UK initially which increased by more than 3 times in 2004. In contrast, sales figures in Belgium and Sweden were €1.8m and €2m respectively which dropped by €1m and €0.9m in 2004. Other countries banana sales also seen an upward trend in 2004 compared to 1999.

The two table illustrated the comparison of sales of Fairtrade labelled coffee and bananas in five European countries in 1994 and 2004.

It was clear that the consumption of coffee increased in all five countries. The dramatic increase in consumption was the UK, which was from 1.5 to 2 millions of euros in 1994 and 2004 respectively. Whereas, in Sweden, there was a slight increase of labelled coffee, which was an amount of 0.2 millions in the same period of time. Besides, a moderate to modest increase in the rest of three countries including Switzerland, Denmark, and Belgium.

Sale figures in Bananas in the top listed countries showed an remarkably upward trend in the UK, Switzerland, and Denmark. The UK bananas consumption increased three time in 2004 as compared to 1999, which was from 15 to 47 millions. Whereas,in Belgium and Sweden, a drop in bananas consumption was obviously figured by 0.8 and 1.1 millions in respectively.

Overall, the table showed an increasing tendency of consumption of labelled coffee and bananas in most countries of Europe. Whereas, a decrease in banana consumption was clearly seen in some certain countries.

Overall, It is clearly seen that from 1999-2004 the sales of both produce has increased significantly. With exception to Belgium and Sweden which declined its sale for nearly half of its sales in 1999.

From the table it is clear that, sale of coffee has increased considerably in those 5 years. Especially in UK, the revenue rose from 1.5 million Euros in 1999 to 20 million Euros in 2004. Even in countries such as Switzerland and Belgium, has shown a steady progress in terms of revenue. However in Sweden, growth in sales was just 0.2 million Euros in 5 years which is considerably lesser than those of the other countries.

Revenue from banana has also increased in some countries. Unlike the revenue from coffee, the revenue from banana did not see an exponential growth. In fact, in countries such as Belgium and Sweden, the money from banana has reduced over the period of time by 0.8 and 1.1 million Euros respectively.

To begin with, In 1999, The highest sales of coffee were recorded in Switzerland( 3 billions of Euros), followed by Denmark(1.8 billions) and then the UK ( 1.5 billions ) . Belgium and Sweden sales were between 0.8 to 1 billions of Euros for coffee. However, in 2004, The UK sales surged to 20 billions, and sales of Switzerland doubled to 6 millions. Both Denmark and Beljium sales rose by 0.2 billions from 1999 to 2004, opposed to 0.7 billions rise in the Swedish sales.

Regarding bananas sales, The United kingdom earned 15 billions of Euros in 1999, increasing to figure of 47 billions in 2004, the highest sales value so far. In contrast, Sweden sales for bananas were 2 billions in 1999, which dropped to less than half(0.8 billions of Euro) in 2004. Similar declining trend was noticed for Belgium sales(from 1.8 to 1) in the five years duration. However, in Switzerland and Denmark, sales of bananas increased from figure of 1 to 5.5 and .6 to 4 respectively.

Overall, it is clear that the fairly traded coffee shows clustered price ranged from 0.8 to 20 million of euros in five European countries in 1999 and by 2004. Whereas, the fairly traded bananas saw five groups of price from 0.6 to 47 million of euros of those countries.

It is very clear that overall figures for consuming coffee had increased by 2004 in all five countries of Europe wheares sales for banana were increased only in United kindom and denmark,else in other remaining three countries,it decreased considerably.

Not seeing such a rapid change in coffee sales in UK, Sweden sold just 0.2 million euros more coffee in 2004 (1 million) than those in 1999 (0.8 million).
15 million euros of bananas were sold in UK in 1999, and increased to 47 million euros in 2004, making UK the country where the highest sales were seen in both two years. While more and more bananas were sold in UK, Switzerland and Denmark, the sales volume of bananas declined in Belgium and Sweden, from 1.8 million to 1 million and 2 million to 0.9 million respectively.

In UK and Switzerland, the bananas sales are escalated from 15 to 47 millions and from 1 to 5.5 millions euros respectively. There is increasing trend of 3.4 millons euros bananas sale in Denmark, whereas there is a decline in bananas sales from 1.8 to 1 millions euros and from 2 to 0.9 millions euros in Belgium and Sweden respectively.

Overall, there are a rise in coffee sales in all five countries, while the sale of bananas has a decrease in Belgium and Sweden.
To specify, it is clear that the consumption of coffee in UK has the highest growth from 1.5 to 20 millions of euros between 1999 and 2004, followed by the doubled increase in sale in Switzerland from 3 to 6 millions of euros. In other countries including Denmark, Belgium and Sweden, the sale of coffee experienced a slight rise between 1999 and 2004 from 0,2 to 0,7 millions of euros.
In bananas, there is a significant rise in sales with 32 millions of euros and 4,5 millions of euros in a 5-years period in UK and Switzerland respectively. The figure of bananas sale in Denmark showed a gradual increase from 0,6 to 4, whereas the decline was witnessed in sales in Belgium and Sweden, namely 0,8 and 1,1 millions of euros.

It is clear from the table that there was an overall upward trend in sales of both Fairtrade-labelled coffee and bananas between 1999 and 2004. In 2004, the sales figures for both products were considerably higher in the UK compared to the four other countries.

In 1999, the sales figure for Fairtrade coffee in the UK was only €1.5 million, but by 2004, this figure had rapidly risen to €20 million. The figure for Fairtrade bananas were also highest in the UK among the five nations in both 1999 and 2004, at €15 and €47 million respectively. While Switzerland saw the highest figure for sales of Fairtrade coffee in 1999 with €3 million, it had the second highest figure in 2004 with €6 million. 1. Is it ok if in the general part I write "the coffee sales increased in all the 5 countries" and then in detail paragraph, about coffee table, I mention only the UK?

As it is clear from the first table that sales of coffee increased in all five countries during this time period but in UK there was a dramatic increase which was almost 13 times more sales in 2004 as compared to 1991.while in other countries sales increased greadually.
Second table shows sales of bananas which incresed in UK,Switzerland,Denmark while a gradual decrease in Belgium and Sweden.Sales of bananas in UK were 3 times more in 2004 than in 1991.
conclusively the sales of coffee and banana in UK kept rising from 1991 to 2004.overall trend was upward instead of sales of bananas in Belgium and Sweden.

Similarly, the number of bananas purchased had also dramatically in risen to 47 million euros by 2004 in the UK.

In Switzerland,the spending on coffee had doubled by 2004 with 6million euros while the banana sales ha incresed in five folds 5.5 million euros) by 2004. A similar patter was seen for the fairtrade bananas consumed in Denmark with 0.6 million eurom in 1999 to 4 million euros in 2004.

Meanwhile, the sales of fairtrade coffee in Denmark, Belgium and Sweden had only risen very slightly in 2004 with 2, 1.7 and 1 million euros respectively.

In contrast, the consumption of fairtrade bananas in Belgium (1 million euros) and Sweden (0.9 million euros) by 2004.

Overall, it is very clear that the UK had shown the greatest interest on this particular fairtrade products while Switzerland were considerably keen on them. But the rest of the countries are not that greatly interested in fairtrade coffe and bananas.

The tables show the amount of money that were earned from sailing trade labeled coffee and banana at 1999 and 2004 alike in 5 European countries.

As can be seen .The country which had the most changes in England in both tables.In 1999 Uk sold 1.5 m for coffee while this sales was 15 m for Banana at the same year.As it shows in 2 table the biggest number belongs to the Uk for sailing coffee and banana in 2004 .Switzerland income from coffee in 1999 was 3 million while it has decreased to 6 m at. 2004.This country have sold 1 m euros banana in 1999 and this number received to 5.5 m at 2004.Denmark ,Belgium and sweden in both years havenot had any sensible changing at sailing banana and coffee.Only Denmark in 1999 have sold banana in 2004 3.5 times more than 1999.

All sumed up,The comparison among these 5 country in 1999 and 2004 shows that just Uk and Switzerland had a good revenue from the sales of coffee and banana .Other 3 countries havenot had generally any concentration changes.

In sales of bananas, UK and Switzerland were the two most popular country as in retails of coffee. According to data, UK almost tripled its banana sales from 15 million euros to 47 million euros between 1999 and 2004. Likewise, the figure for the sales in banana escalated almost 5 times for the same period. On the other hand, the change in money spent on both products by other three European countries was not as considerable as those made in UK and Switzerland, except the increase in sales of banana in Denmark between 1999 and 2004.

In the coffee industry, with three-million-euro sales, Switzerland was the biggest market in 1999, while UK took over the leading role in 2004 by selling 22 million euros of fairtrade coffee, which contributed to two third of total sales in the five European countries.

Sales in Switzerland rose from 15 millions of euros to 47 millions, whilst the figures in the UK and Belgium increased from 1 to 5 millions and from 0.6 to 4 millions respectively. In contrast, the sale figures in Sweden and Denmark declined roughly a half in the same period.

For example, in Switzerland and in Belgium, fairtrade coffee sales more or less doubled to 6 and 1.7 million respectively, while in Denmark and Sweden sales increased very little, rising only 0.2 million in both countries. Meanwhile, Britain’s consumption of coffee rocketed to 20 million, which meant it was now the largest consumer. In contrast, bananas sales only increased in the UK, Switzerland and in Denmark. In the UK they tripled to over 45 million, in Switzerland they rose by over 500% to 5.5, and in Denmark they rose even faster, growing to 4 million, which was an increase of more than 600%. While these countries experienced dramatic growth, in Belgium and Sweden, sales actually halved to 1 and 0.9 million respectively.

In conclusion, coffee sales increased in more countries than banana sales. It also shows that the sales of both rose much faster in the UK than any other countries, though Switzerland also did well.

The figures illustrate the amount of money which have been spent for Bananas and Coffee in 1999 and 2004 in several countries. Those countries are UK,Switzerland , Denmark, Belgium, Sweden.
Overall, UK had the highest value of the sales of coffee in 2004 eventhough it did’t have the same order in 1999. It is clear that the most significant change for sales of coffee occured in UK and the second considerable rise happend for Switzerland. For the sales of babanas ,UK again had the biggest number in 2004 and also in 1999 at this time.
The number of sales of coffee was 1.5 millions of euros in 1999 and it went up to 20 millions of euro in 2004. Additionaly, In Switzerland the cost of coffee has doubled in these five years. For other countries on the table , it is ovious that there were slightly difference between year of 1999 and 2004 for the datas of sales of coffee.
For the price of bananas , UK was the first country with 15 millions of euros in 1999 and thans to the increases 47 millions of euros in 2004. The costs of bananas in Switzerland rose to 5.5 millions of euros.

In my essay, I wrote one paragraph for coffee and one for bananas, and I compared countries together. Is this ok or should I compare the tables and group the countries?
