Some say that artists (musicians, writers, painters) should be supported by the government. Others think it would be waste of money. Discuss both arguments and give your opinion. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
Here is my answer.

People hold different views about whether or not goverment should help artists. Altough i accept that goverment have many other responsiblities where they need to allocate / invest money, i disagree with the idea that artists should recieve no support from the state.
There are several reasons why assisting musicians, painters and writers could be seen as waste of money. Firstly, goverment need to ...... about many global concern such as unemployment, poverty , crime and pollution. Therefore goverment need to balance needs carefully before spending large amount of money on art. Secondly, people need jobs, food housing and good medical care before any form of entertainment. Finally, sometime goverment tend to spend unwisely. They build huge museums or fund expensive projects like theaters and operas without measuring quality. As a result, people don not like it and find it as waste of money.
simon have i used word allocate correctly or invest is the right word there.ASSISTING is correct or not

Here is 3rd para and conclusion. plz tell me one thing more is coherence is ok.
Despite the above arguments,i believe that goverment should try to support artists. Art is important part of nation's culture. We need to remember our poems, songs historical books, languages and crafts, these all are provided by artists.Furthermore, art tell us how to live a life. After having a hectic day people like to listen to music.Which lead to relax their mind. In addition, we should not forget that art provides a way for humans to express themselves, and it makes us realise the beauty around us. By spending money on artists, goverment may also help and entertain people.
In conclusion, altough goverment have many urgent demands on their bugets. Money can fulfill body's need but to fulfill soul's need, we need art too.

Hi rk,
I'm afraid I don't give essay feedback or corrections (everyone would ask for the same help if I did this). Just one tip: we don't say 'look after about' or 'take care about'. Just write: 'governments HAVE many (global) concerns...'
You seem to have the right idea. Sorry I can't help more - it wouldn't be fair on other people if I did.
