This was my speaking exam topic last july haha

1.What advantages does living in the countryside have, compared to living in a city?
There are two main advantages to live in the countryside. The first advantage is that the environment is better, as there are fewer cars, fewer factories in the countryside and therefore, less pollution. The second advantage is that the people maintain a more intimate relation in the countryside. Thank to the relatively small population, it is easier to create a small community in the countryside.

2.Have areas of countryside in your country changed since you were a child?

Yes, the countryside has totally transformed its appearance in China. Now the economic circumstances have improved in the Chinese rural areas and the quality of life has risen a lot. On the other hand, the young people have migrated to big cities for job opportunities and only the old people and children stay there. Therefore, the rural areas have lost their dynamic.

3.Do you think that visits to the countryside should be something that schools offer to their children?

Yes. It is a perfect occasion to let the children approach the nature. Nowadays, children don't spend much time on exploring the nature because of the increasing number of indoor activities. However, children should know more about the nature. The organised visits offered by schools can be a good opportunity to experience something new for the children.

1. There are two main advantages living in a countyside. One advantage is that you will be able to experience the spectacular views of mountain scenery that is rarely seen in the city. The countryside is a good place to unwind your mind away from crowded and stessful situations. For intance, many employed individuals wanted to free themselves from their busy life that is why they go for a vacation to experience the breathtaking beauty of nature and to relax at the same time. Another advantge is that people who live in a countryside, mostly live a longer life. Living in a place where the air is fresh, less pollution and peaceful is
a wonderful place to stay.

2. well, there are a lot of changes I have seen in my country since I was a child. Firstly, the small houses beccame builings, shcools and factories. It is good to have this advancement in technology but aligned with this, there are also drawbacks that my country experienced like having more pollution and it became more crowded. Secondly, it has now a booming economy with its flourishing I.T industry that offer more work to the people. Lastly, from an empty field to a subdivision.

3. Definitely yes because visiting to a countryside help children renew there knowledge about nature and seeing animals in real life is quite different than seeing them in books.

Second, there is less noise in the countryside since there are fewer people. Finally, living in the countryside means more fewer pressure.

Yes, there are some changes in my country's countryside since I were a child. To be honest, some countrysides of China were extreme poverty, but now, most of them become more and more wealthy.
3. Do you think that visits to the countryside should be something that schools offer to their children?
Yes. It is a perfect choice to let the children to enter visit the countryside. They can learn more knowledge about the nature and
see a big world instead of only stay in the cities.
