Traffic congestion is becoming a huge problem for many major cities. Suggest some measures that could be taken to reduce teaffic in big cities.

Nowadays, traffic has become a moot issue in several metro cities around the world. Thus, it needs to be taken seriously from getting worst. In my opinion, by taking certain number of steps we could curb out from this issue in urban areas.

One of the main reason behind congestion issue is immense usage of personal vehicles by people instead of public transports. However, this problem can be solved through introducting amend transport system by government. Better transit system means every area of a city should be connected by local buses or trains; so that local commuters can easily commute throughout the town. A good example of this is Sydney, where all parts of the territory is connected with metro trains that lesson the traffic by 45% in present time as compared to year 2000.

Hi Simon,

Is it possible to change the words formats in listening and reading answers?

Right on point @Simon! A lot of my students try to use sports metaphors as well.

Thx!!!
