Hi simon
Would it be better if i try to paraphase my answer in speaking test?? Some of my teacher"s advice is that using synonyms or similar words can avoid repetition. How can i change the question for my answer?
For example, do you think yours weekends are long enough??
I looked up a dictionary in therasus.com and found out some synonyms for "long", such as continued, deep, distant ,elongated, stretched...synonyms for "enough" : Sufficient or adequate. However, when i tried to put them in my answer, it wasn"t suitable for this situation.
How should i do to pharaphase questions? And what is a strategy for this?

son,

Don't try to paraphrase every word in that way. If you paraphrase "weekends" and "long", you'll probably create something very strange! It's fine to use the main words from the question in the speaking test.
