The sentence below comes from a UK government website. It's a good example of how statistics are described by native speakers in the 'real world'.

*The number of live births in the UK in 2014 was 776,352, a decrease of 0.3% since 2013, when there were 778,803 live births.*

Let's try to use this sentence as a model. Can you write a similar sentence with the following information?

- In 2014, 80,000 UK students chose to study history
- In 2013, 100,000 UK students chose to study history

Make sure that you use the same sentence order, the same tense, and the same punctuation. Try to include the percentage decrease too.

The number of UK students who chose to study history in 2014 was 80,000, a significant decrease of 20% since 2013, when there were 100,000 UK students

hi simon

please see this my one essay

questions:Because of busy pace of modern life

,many children spend most of their time indoors and have little exposure to the natural world .

how important is it for children to learn to understand and appreciate nature?give reasons for ur answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

these days the life of peoples has been more busy comparison to early age people's life.Due to this trend ,children are spending their activities only at home rather than in natural environment.so,i do believe that it is important for children to appreciate the nature giving more concern to preserve the environment and its role or relation in human lives.

To preserving the environments factors children should keep the information about the importance of these factors such as :iron resources, gas resources, petrol resource and more importantly the current conditions of environment which has been polluted day by day.The large amount of carbon-dioxide gas emission has increased dramatically.by its the life of people have been challenging to keep their existence for the future consistently. While the large numbers of vechiles are increasing.by its the present situations of environment has totally polluted.so,the children involvement in natural environment is more essential way because the future of nature is depend on them and they should be affirmed by the challenging of environment pollution. As a result ,if they participate or do their activities in real nature ,undoubtfully they may be concerned to defend the nature and their future too.

Nature is a core aspect of human life because without it people's existence has no more.so,children should know about he role of nature to complete the human life conveniently. The reason is that,in nature we can find oxygen, different elements which is used to produce materials for daily life, such as :clothes, food etc.furthermore the modern life has totally dependent on nature for instance :to car we use petrol for electricity water resources is used .In fact the relation of people's life and environment both are equal to continue for the environment balance. So, i affirm that children should know about the dependent relation on nature of human beings because they are also the part of nature.consequently the importance of nature and its value can be developed on people's thoughts.

In conclusion, limiting only activities on indoor may not be beneficial to children so,the relation of nature and people lives and to preserve for the future.children should be performed to save the nature in dispite of busy life.

please suggest me

hi please do correct .. thank you.. ill wait in ur response.. question: government should spend on money on railways than roads. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement. Give reasons for you answer and include any relevant examples for your own knowledge or experience. Answer: We all know that roads and railways were most important in our society for us to travel on our own perspectives. For me, I am disagree in the statement above that the government should spend more on railways rather than roads. I have been experience travelling both in the roads and railways, as what I've observed both have disadvantages and advantages. Some citizen would like to travel on the road for instances who have their own transportation like cars and motorcycles while others citizen would like to travel through train from railways to prevent from any traffic and to come as early as to their important appointments despite of overcrowded passengers. In my opinion, both railways and roads must be spent on money equally, for us individual can travel both safely and on time.
