Thank you very much for this piece of advice.

Thanks you so much! It is very useful

Dear Simon,

I don't have a PayPal account. How can I pay? Is it possible to pay using a bank?

Although it is written in your webpage-

Pay by bank card. If you don't have a PayPal account, click the "continue" link below the credit card pictures, or click on "Don't have a PayPal account".

What the difference if I change these sentences to:

1. Nowadays, people can use the Internet, fax and mobile phones to work from home, which means people who do not have access to transport can find employment.
2. Most products are built to last only a short time, which creates a "throw-away" culture.
3. A global economy means free trade between countries, which can strengthen political relationships.

Another question is can I change 'this' to 'it' in these sentences?

Thank you!

"A global economy means free trade between countries. This can strengthen political relationships."
I think these sentences are more available in spoken English than written English because they are short and not very related to each other. Am I right?

Hi Simon

May I check if I can re-write the sentence using "THAT" instead "THIS"? I always get confuse with these two words.

eg.
Nowadays, people can use the Internet, fax and mobile phones to work from home. In THAT way, people who do not have access to transport can find employment.
