Dear Simon,
I 've just got an overall score (7.5) that I have never ever dreamed of although I made 2 big silly mistakes in speaking part 2 and writing task 1 that decreased significantly scores of those skills.
It's your website that help me get 8.0 in reading, 6.5 in writing and 7.5 in speaking.
It's difficult to describe in words my thankfulness. Many many many thanks to you, simon.
Best requards,
Trang

Congratulations Trang. I'm really happy that my website helped you to get such great scores!

Obeid, my email is ieltssimon@gmail.com. Please note that I can't usually reply to general questions about IELTS. It would be impossible for me to answer everyone's questions individually.

I want to ask you if you can make online classes to praper for IELTS?

Your Website, Post and comments are really useful to a greater extent. I cant express my thankfulness to you in words.

which time zones has the same ielts topics??

ielts 5.5

Hey Simon,
First of all thanks alot for your tips it really helped me. I have an enquiry, i took my ielts exam recently and when i checked my result online it was R9,L9,W7,S7 but when i went to get my certificate i found that they gave me 6.5 in writing. When i asked for an explanation they told that i had what's known as jagged profile where the first examiner gave me 7 but the second gave me 6.5. It really frustrated me and i'm considering to apply for a remark although some told me it wouldn't change a thing so what do you think.
Kind regards

Hi Simon,

I am native English speaker and i sat for the IELTS test 7 times in total to achieve the required score for a permanent residency in a country.

I would just like to thank you for this wonderful blog and what you are contributing to many international students like me.

As for everyone else, do not give up and trust me, learning English takes a lot of time . I am an accountant by profession, and i feel English is way tougher despite me being a native English speaker.

hi Simon,
