It is true that nowadays it is easier to be given a credit card, and there is not any trouble with it when the owner has enough money in the bank account for paying the things that he is buying.
I think of the credit card as a financial product that a company is selling you, and it has its advantages. The major one is that a credit line allows people to afford for things that cost more than the total amount of money available in their bank account. This can be very helpful in many situations. To illustrate this I could describe a situation in which someone is far away from home, and his cash has been stolen or misplaced. With a credit card he could afford a hotel, a flight ticket or whatever he needs to return home, even if he has no money in his bank account. Of course, this service has costs, that are the taxes for having the credit card and the interest rate for the money he borrowed, that will have to be returned.
On the other hand, there is the problem related to those who are not able to manage their own money. They often buy more things that they can afford, just because their credit card let them do it. These situations do often ends with the economic bankruptcy of the card holder.
In conclusion, I think that the advantages a having a credit card outweigh the disadvantages for those who are able to manage their money, and the contrary is the case to those that expend more money that they already have. (271)

This was the Writing task 2 question of the exam on 18th January. My writing score is 6.5, thanks a lot for your help Simon. You're great I suggest this website everyone I know.

It is true that of late any common lay man can easily access to credit cards. In my perception ,eventhough at times they cause trouble like debts, but mostly it turns to be of great help.

Dear Simon,

I checked my IELTS results few days ago and found that I did even better than I imagined. Your lessons really helped me a lot, especially in writing. I love the materials you post. You're indeed a great teacher. Million thanks to you!

My parents don't speak a word of English, and most people from where I live don't either. Personally I've never studies abroad or lived in an English-speaking country. But I've been told I have a natural English accent. When people say that, I always tell them it's because I've watched tons of Grey's Anatomy. They would laugh, but I'm telling the truth. Besides learning from great teachers, it's also important to find a fun way to use and enjoy the language. (I feel awesome when I can understand the dirty jokes lol) Anyway, just want to give you my greatest thanks and let other students know: the more you enjoy preparing for the test, the better you would do. Good luck to everyone!

Today credit card is the greatest technique to exchange money easily. Now a days maximum people use to credit card.
Now a days people easily get credit card and it has lots of advantage.I think most of the advantage think is user get debt with credit card and bank has given some days to loan back.On the other hand many people use for shopping and another advantage is user easily buy a lot of thing in online.Time spending is major problem and they can safe their time very normally.
Its true that everything has some negative site.User can debt easily but if timely they can not their debt, they lost their many thing, such as home, car, asset and so on.
Finally i want to say everybody should use credit card limitationally and should not take any kind of debt.

I have got this question in my ielts exam ... although i managed to get 7.5 in writting but unfortunately got 6 in all other modules..

Nowadays, people rely more and more heavily on credit cards and it's been argued whether credit cards benefit our lives or not. In my opinion, credit cards indeed make our lives easier and better.

There are lots of advantages using a credit card. First, a credit card gives people access to money and the facility to pay it later, like a loan. This could be extremely useful for emergencies or something expensive, like a holiday. Secondly, to some extent, credit cards are a safer and more convenient way to pay. With your credit card, you can just leave your wallet at home, and no need to worry about losing your cash. Last but not the least, using credit cards can boost the economy since accessing to money becomes so easy. People will have the tendency to spend more.

However, although there are so many advantages in using a credit card, we still need be attentive to some disadvantages. Since credit cards encourage people to spend money they do not have, people may face the problems of building up debts and financial difficulties. Once people cannot afford their debts, everyone suffers: those in debt may lose their homes, the banks lose money, and the whole economy suffers. Therefore, using a credit card can also be dangerous for those spend more than they can afford.

In conclusion, the invention of credit cards have a great impact on our modern lives, changing our shopping habits and modes. Whether it is beneficial or not depends on how we use it. Only if people know how to manage their money, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. It's necessary for everyone to learn using a credit card carefully and taking responsibilities. (282)

It is true that credit cards, as a new method of payment, have become socially acceptable to the masses. Some may argue that credit cards will ruin an individual’s life by offering a way of ease of access to money. However, I am of the opinion that the benefits brought about by credit card prevail over their drawbacks.

Credit cards may spawn greater benefits on individual and societal levels. People not in possession of a good fortune can buy life-essential things in advance, and regular repayments are able to help them pay their debts easily. For example, a semi-skilled student with financial difficulties could receive higher education by paying his pricey tuition fees on credit, and pay back after he is capable enough of finding a decent job. Furthermore, credit cards, to some extents, can immensely boost national economy when people are encouraged to spend more in their daily lives, which unavoidably leads to the sustainable economic prosperity.

There is, however, a certain disadvantage. Common sense informs us that credit cards can generate an illusion that people’s buy habits can be well-managed and self-controlled by repaying a small proportion of their earnings on a weekly basis.
Under this circumstance, the youth would be biggest victims, because most of them are psychologically and emotionally immature, and it is hard for them to exercise self-restrain before spending money on things they like by credit cards. Therefore, they are likely to suffer from uneasiness, anxiety and frustration when they finally realize that the enormous debts have been built up and the possibility of repaying them is very slim.

In conclusion, credit cared are of great assistance to the people who are plagued with chronic financial burdens, but not everyone can well handle them which can persuade people to buy things impulsively.

personally, i think 'credit cards question' is a kind of transformation of the advertising topic. i mainly use some ideas from writing adverting-related essays, which are easy to help me expand my arguments.

Credit card is becoming a very popular tool in both online or in store shopping, however this is not risk free, if consumers cannot pay back the money on time, huge penalty will apply. In my view, I think this payment type should be encouraged.

There are numerous benefits to use credit card. Firstly, it makes people’s life easier and more convenience. Credit card payment, as a way to pay, offers customers money to purchase goods that they might not be able to buy it otherwise. Take car purchase as an example, some people might not have such amount of cash on hand to pay for the vehicle, with credit card you can either payout once by borrowing money from credit card provider or pay the monthly instalments. Furthermore, it helps to improve national economy. The prevalence of credit card stimulates consumers’ purchasing power; as a result, it increases a country’s GDP, which represents a country’s economic success. As the merits mentioned above, it is obvious that credit card can actually benefit people’s life on more than one aspect.

Nonetheless there are also some disadvantages in using this new way of consumption. The major issue with credit card is the huge penalty occurs when people cannot payback on due day. In addition to that, some may worry that excess impulsive purchase is like to occur for those who lack of sales resistance.

Despite of some disadvantages of using credit card, I see this as a positive trend as it not only helps people when they short of money but also enhances national economy. The main task left here is to promote a rational consumption.(273 words)

Dear Simon,

1.
i am just wondering, the question actually mentioned
"it is easy to apply and give credit card"
for task response, do I have to focus on the approval of credit card is easy?

in my exercise, i think my response should focus on the last sentence: the adv. of credit card outweigh the disadv. or not.

2.
in essay like that , should i say credit card or credit cards?
I used Credit card for consistency
do you think that should be okay?

Thank you in advance.

HI SIMON,

i have two questions for the task

1. should i mention "credit card is easy to apply and give"
in my essay, i sense the point of this question is "credit cards' advantages and disadvantages"

2. should say credit card or credit cards? or it actually doesn't matter?

thank you in advance.

best regards,

Evie

hey simon can we use contemporarily in the very first line of essay arguments.

Thank you very much Simon. 'God bless you'.

Hi Simon! This is my answer. could you please check it for me. Thank you! I need a band 7 for writing. Where should I improve in your opinion? Thanks again.

Today, people may require too little effort to have credit cards, but difficulties may occur at a later time when they can not pay what they owe. Credit cards may be very helpful in times of need and emergency, however, it poses great risk and responsibility.

Credit cards have many uses. For leisure, like booking for an extravagant holiday, one can swipe a credit card to pay a flight, hotel and meals. If as of the moment, clothes and accessories are on sale but these are not on your budget, you can easily buy them with the money that you do not currently have. Moreover, I benefitted from a credit card when I booked for the Canadian registration for Nurses Examination (CRNE), Jurisprudence Examination, and International Examination for Language Testing System (IELTS). Above all of these, its most important use is for emergencies. Anyone can purchase medicine and pay hospital bills as they arise.

Once purchases are made, the monthly payment, which entitles about one to three per cent interest rate, starts. In case a payor chooses to get rid of the interest only, the owed money builds up. As an average income-earner, this is a huge problem, when the capital is not deducted. When things get worst, the things bought may be asked to be returned, and if it can not be given back, such as those for recreation, a house or a car can be asked to be surrendered.

No matter how fascinating a credit card may be, I do not lure myself to using it for leisure. Instead, I limit its purpose for education and emergencies only.

Dear Simon,

Could you please advice me as to what to write in order to answer the following question correctly. should I write only about the "computer hindrance" or both "benefits and hinracne"

the question
Some people consider computers to be more of a hindrance than a help. Others believe that they have greatly increased human potential.

How could computers be considered a hindrance?

thank you

This is my version, it almost takes 1 hour.

It is true that people nowadays are given a more convenient access to obtain an credit card than ever before, while some credit-card holder could not afford to return their debts back to the banks in time. Although I do agree that the ordinary citizens need capital support from banks, I personally believe that a correspondingly monitoring and regulating system should be established.

Obviously, there are some positive effects on personal finance and economic growth. A credit card gives you access to money and the facility to pay it back later, like a loan. As for those residents who does not have enough disposable budgets, for example, this could be useful for emergencies or something expensive, like a holiday. On the other hand, easy access to money means that people spend, and this benefits the economy.

However, applying for credit cards easily may give rise to some problems as well. First of all, credit cards encourage people to spend money they do not have, which could trigger a debt issue. In another word, debts can build up and leave people in real financial difficulties. Furthermore, when people cannot pay their debts back, everyone suffers the outcomes of the debt risk. More specifically, those in debt may lose their homes and the banks lose money. Even the whole economic system can be unsustainable and vulnerable after suffering those debt crisis.

In conclusion, having an easy access to credit cards may beneficial to the individual and society. But, in my point of view, relevant supervising measures should be taken ahead.

Nowadays it is easy to apply for and be given a credit card. However, some people experience problems when they are not be able to pay their debts back. In your opinion, do the advantages of credit cards outweigh the disadvantages?
It is all too easy to obtain a credit card and then to run up debts which are difficult to repay. In my opinion, the disadvantages of credit cards far outweigh the advantages.
Many people consider only the benefits of owning a credit card. It is true that a credit card gives you access to money and the facility to pay it back later, like a loan. This could be useful for emergencies or something expensive, like a holiday. In addition, having a credit card is more secure than carrying money around with you. If you lose your wallet or purse, or if you are mugged in the street, a quick phone call to the bank means that the card will be instantly refused if anyone tries to use it.
On the other hand, credit cards encourage people to spend money they do not have. I would never have a credit card for this reason. Debts can build up and leave people in real financial difficulties. When people cannot pay their debts back, everyone suffers: those in debt may lose their homes, the banks lose money, and the whole economy suffers. The enticing message of ‘spend today, pay tomorrow’ should not seduce us into embracing this philosophy. As my mother used to say: it will end in tears.
In conclusion, listen to the advice of the older generation. Do not be tempted by the ease of using a credit card, because it may result in mounting debts which cannot be paid back.

Hey,my dear teacher:

First, let me start by showing my deepest thanks to you as we ALL do benefit from ur lessons.I've a huge unknow problem. I do practise everyday reading and listening, however in each time, I do make many mistakes. ALL the times, my score is not more than 6 whether in reading or listening. I don't know what I can do. Furthermore, I did watch all YouTube vids related to IELTS and did answer all questions and tasks in all cambridge books as well. please I'de be grateful if u can share ur advice with me.

Hello! great prof, here is my sample answer, waiting for you to check it and letting me know the score.

credit cards, as a new method of payment, have become socially acceptable .In my opinion, credit cards indeed make our lives easier and better. However, it does have some advantages and disadvantages as well. Nevertheless, its advantages are much more than its disadvantages.

Firstly, I would like to mention the advantages of it. We use credit card for emergencies and for expensive things as well as buying house, or buying a car, or even starting a small project that can ensure us a happy life with no financial problems. From my experience, my uncle did have a loan from the bank last year to get married to buy his furniture. So, there was no other option for him but to have a credit from the bank. Secondly, with your credit card, you can just leave your wallet at home, and no need to worry about losing your cash.

However, although there are so many advantages in using a credit card, we still need pay attention to its disadvantages. Since credit cards encourage people to spend money they do not have, people may face some problems.

The main obstacle is not being able to pay your debt back to the bank .what if you are not able to do it? The dreadful result will lead to the loss of your house or something expensive like it. Furthermore, it will lead to the suffering of the bank.
I did experience a very sorrowful situation two years ago when my neighbor did take a loan to buy a loan to start a new project as a supermarket to make a living. The result was that he suffered a lot from his supermarket as he didn’t achieve many sales which led to the loss of his products and so many others, and then he did face many problems to pay his debt back by selling his super market and selling his house as well and borrowing from friends.

On the whole, having an easy access to credit cards can be beneficial to the individual and society. I do reckon that the existence of credit card did and still solve many financial problems for people, just in case we need it for something necessary, to avoid any sort of probs.

Dear Simon,

This is my version of this topic. Could you check it and give some comments for me? Thank you!

Nowadays, more and more people rely on credit cards to defray the dollars when they are shopping. Nevertheless, some of them always employ it without the thinking of whether they can pay off their debt, so I think that its disadvantages certain outweigh its advantages.

Let us first take a look at the positive aspect. To begin with, credit cards give people access to money and the facility to pay it back later, like a loan. Without doubt, it is incredibly useful for emergencies or some expensive things such as electronic products we would like to buy. For instance, when we are traveling abroad, it is not impossible for us to bring too much cash in our wallets; therefore, plastic money is the best method to pay during the period. Furthermore, since using credit cards to access to money is too convenient, it encourages people spend more dollars to buy goods and also enhances economic growth to a certain extent.

The payment in question is not without drawbacks. Flipping into the side, many people take risks about they are unable to pay their debt back. It is because credit cards often allow holders to make a purchase that they cannot afford. Sometimes, we may hear that there is a sharp increase of teenagers’ insolvency. Take America as an example. Most youngsters especially who are weak at self-controlling abuse plastic money to shop different kinds of products including brand name goods and so on. Obviously, the bad debt builds up and leaves people in real financial difficulties.

By and large, although there are some benefits of employing credit cards, I firmly believe that the problem namely insolvency it causes is really serious.

In a modern society, a credit card has become an essential part of many people’s lives. It offers useful flexibility to our lives and also provides useful for emergencies as well as something expensive, like a holiday. However, in my opinion, using credit card can have a double – edged impact on our lives.
A credit card gives you access to money and the facility to pay it back later, like a loan. Some people can be loan money from banks by the credit card to buy house, car and travel. Furthermore, the credit card could be useful for emergencies or something expensive, like a holiday. Credit cards are a safe way to pay. Easy access to money means that people spend, and this benefits the economy. Besides, using credit card also is the root of all evil.
Credit cards encourage people to spend money they do not have. Debts can build up and leave people in real financial difficulties and more than abominable when people cannot pay their debts back, everyone suffers such as those in debt may lose their homes, the banks lose money, and the whole economy suffers. Finally, they able to be becoming social evil, some people are no homelessness disease. As a result, children have to earn money instead of going to school and lead to illiteracy Evil which is destructive of life.
Using credit card is good ideal in modern society, but we need to balance reasonable expensing when we decide to draw some money from our credit card.

Though the widespread of using the credit cards has been offering substantial benefits for individuals in recent years, it may cause several problems as well. In my opinion, individuals are beneficiaries rather than victims for using a credit card. (39)

It is true that the inappropriate credit card using may bring several inconveniences to us. For example, the banks usually deliberately encourage people to spend money in advance and advocate the card owners to pay back later. However, it may pose a serious threat to the teenagers as they lack of finance management and self-control capabilities. Moreover, it may leave both individuals and the banks to serious financial difficulties when the card owners are not able to pay the debts timely. As a consequence, people in debt may lose their homes and the banks lose money which influences the whole economy development. (102)

However, there are several essential benefits for individuals in different occasions as well. Firstly, the credit card facilitates individuals’ daily business. For instance, people are able to pay various bills such as monthly water payment with a credit card and pay back later, even without interests attached. Secondly, the credit card could be significant useful when people confront with an emergency or afford something quite expensive, such as an overseas vacation. In addition, the banks usually offer various schemas like monthly pay back to alleviate individuals’ financial pressure. Furthermore, the credit card is widely considered as a more safe way while it is quite risky to pay a large amount of cashes in some occasions. (115)

In conclusion, despite of some potential risks for using a credit card, people are more likely to benefit from its conveniences and flexibility in a variety of daily businesses. (29)

In today’s consumer society, credit cards have become very popular and convenient source of spending money. There is no doubt that they provide numerous benefits to the public. However, it is believed by majority that their use brings more problems in people’s lives than advantages.

Advocates of the credit cards certainly consider only the benefits. It is true that owning a credit allows easy access to money and the facility to spend it like a loan, which can be returned later. This could be more useful in unprecedented situation where one has to spend huge amount like treatment in a private hospital.

However, credit cards encourage people to involve in many harmful practices, which they could have avoided otherwise. First of all, it motivates individuals to spend the money, which they actually do not possess. Having purchasing power at hand compels to buy unnecessary practices. Debts can build up and leave people in extreme financial problems. Banks also lose their funds when people are unable to pay back their mounted loans, and as a result overall economy suffers.
Owning a credit card also involve some safety risks especially making purchases online. When people buy products online, their confidential information about credit cards is revealed to so many different parties. So it makes them more vulnerable to hackers who can empty the bank accounts in a matter of seconds and misuse the credit card information. This can ruin the lives of the whole family and is an unavoidable risk at all times.

In conclusion, despite the fact that credit cards make our lives much easier and enjoyable, they can create a number of problems, which have more detrimental effects. It can be expected that people in today’s society learn to live in their budgets and not be tempted by the temporary attractions it offers in order to avoid problems in future (310).

Credit Card , one of the classical inventions of 21st Century whose use seem to picking up because of its ease in accessibility while ignoring the threats posed by uncontrolled usage. In my viewpoint, Credit Card is a boon which might turn out to be a curse by its obsessive usage which needs to be curbed.
On one side of the track, the advocates of credit cards have termed it as basic necessity of life. The primary reason for making it vital is that banks have twisted their policies to make its receipt straightforward coupled with the fringe benefits that it accompanies. Secondly, Its importance increases, when a disaster is struck or one needs to book a leisure trip online by comforts of home, thus prompting for ePayment. Last but not the least, undemanding way of complying the payment by using installments, so as to avoid any penalty imposed on its consumers. These are some of the strong points to commit for Credit Cards as a matter of fact its demerits should not be ignored.
On other side of track, the critics of credit cards warn its consumers about the smart traps which it lures, one of them is that the consumers buys aggressively, ignoring the budget at their disposal which is the main cause of their debt accumulation. At worse circumstances, they fail to pay the minimum payment that stimulates bank to charge them hefty fines that grows from mole to mountain as a result of persisting non-payment. As a consequence, Banks at times auctions offender's property or impose travel ban in order to recover their funds.
In conclusion, Credit Cards has indeed facilitated its consumers with its credibility while its managed use can combat the menaces that it poses.

Dear Simon,
I am from Hong Kong. I found your web when I search 'ielts writing task' on Google. I really appreciate your work on helping others to prepare ielts exam! thank you very much.
This is my first comment.

Introduction
Having a credit card and accumulating the debts are easy. However, it is far more difficult to pay back the loans than to obtain it. In my point of view, I think the disadvantages of credit card outweigh its advantages.

In today's world, credit card become so popular that everyone can easily avail and use it. We cannot deny the fact that it is one of the convenient way of spending money especially in times of emergencies.

Advocates of credit cards tend to emphasize the advantages that having a card can make. Easy access to debts that can be returned in terms of months without interest is of course very interesting and encouraging promotions of having it. The comfort of just swiping it when in need than going to the bank and see yourself falling in a very long line for withdrawal of amount needed. Another thing is that many banks are only open Monday to Friday, and you cannot do anything if the money is needed emergency that falls on Saturday or Sunday and even long holidays. The time you consume in falling inline in the ATM machine that many time seen off-line and with certain amount deducted.

On the other hand, because of its promising advantages, one cannot notice that it invites us to spend more that what we need. As a result, we sometimes over limit our selves from what we ca be able to pay. Aside from that when we use our credit card online, our identity and confidential information can be at risk of being hacked.Credit cards company cannot promise a strict protection for our account.

To sum, people should learned and be responsible in using their credit cards because the advantages can only be outweigh by disadvantages depending on the attitude and responsibility of the person who use it.

Nowadays it becomes very easy to obtain credit cards. A heated debate has sparked about the merits and the demerits of these credit cards. From my perspective, their disadvantages are more significant than their advantages.
On one hand, credit cards have many merits which are very useful and helpful.Firstly, they allow easy access to money and give us the facility of repaying it bake later, as a loan. Secondly, they are helpful in some situations, for instance during holidays and emergencies. Finally, credit cards encourage people to spend money, thus economy will benefit.
On the other hand, there are several drawbacks. People are encouraged to spend money they do not have. Debts will build up, leaving people in serious financial difficulties. Everyone will suffer; people may lose their homes, banks will lose their money, and the economy will suffer.
In conclusion, although credit cards are a useful facility to be used, they may cause some crisis.Credit cards contribute to economic crisis in many countries in the last decade. Thus people must take care while using their credit cards to avoid losing everything they possess.

Hello Everyone, can anyone please comment on my essay, i need 8 in writing, thanks in advance :)

Nowadays it is easy to apply for and be given a credit card. However, some people experience problems when they are not be able to pay their debts back. In your opinion, do the advantages of credit cards outweigh the disadvantages?

Credit card has become an easy accessible facility. Nevertheless, most of the people get stuck in large chunk of debt that they borrow from it. In my opinion, its negatives outweigh its advantages due to the fact that it brings debt, insecurity and high interest including some positive outcomes. In this essay, I will contend this statement in more detail and provide extra supporting arguments.

To begin with, credit cards are used in all over the globe. This easy utilization brings many disadvantages. Firstly, with its use, people unnecessarily start to shop, especially on festivals like Christmas and New Year. They only realize the taste of liability when a huge transaction arrives to their door step. Only after such incidents people becomes more conscious to save and pay back. Secondly, it is often witnessed that credit card detail is hacked from every corner of the world. For example, in recent years, most of the crackers hack details including password of the credit cards and shop extravagantly before the owner realize that his information is compromised. Hence most of them lose millions of dollars due to cards insecurity and easy utilization. Lastly, such scheme cards never come without any interest free schemes. For instance, when a person borrows even a $1 form the card and fails to pay back after a particular period, then he becomes liable to return large interest too. Consequently, this is not like borrow and forget, sometimes, people lose their properties to pay back the debt including interest rates.

However, this is not the case that these cards only have disadvantages. ON positive side, it gives an assurance to people to use money especially in urgency. For example, in some of the countries like India, hospitals admit patient only after a deposit. In such emergency, people can use credit cards rather to go out and request others to give a deposit instantly. Moreover, in other situations, like pay bill before due date or salary time, are also another advantages of credit cards. Hence, the only need is to use these cards carefully, securely and in limit to avoid its disadvantages.
To recapitulate, credit cards have become an essential part of life. People often over utilize this facility and spend extravagantly without thinking its negative outcomes. The need is to be careful, conscious and control over its disadvantages to take its full advantage.

Hello

More and more people prefer to pay by credit cards rather than by cash, cheques, or debit cards. In my view, the advantages far outweigh the disadvantage.

Admittedly, using credit cards unwisely is very likely to put people, both cardholders and card providers in trouble. Some people, especially the young, rack up debts they are never able to pay back since they have very easy access to money via credit cards and they often tend to spend money than their means. In addition, card firms will charge a relatively high interest as long as the cardholders forget to pay the loan off before the monthly Repayment Date.

However, credit cards have changed our lives in many positive ways. The most obvious one is the convenience credit cards offer to us. People do not need carry big amount of money everywhere if they have a credit card as they are already accepted widely around the world.

Also, if people want to purchase something really expensive, like car, digital SLR camera or a nice trip without enough money for one time payment, credit card can help as we can spread the cost over several months. More amazingly, if people use cards with caution and good plan, not only can they borrow for nothing, but also they can earn loyalty points, airline miles or even cashback!

In conclusion, there are more advantages than disadvantages and I believe credit card is one amazing innovation in modern society, making our lives more convenient and effective.

Finally , essay access to money means that people spend more, and this benefits to the country. On the contrary, it encourages people to spend money they do not have and debts can build up and leave people in real financial difficulties. When they cannot pay back then everyone suffers lots in potential ways in terms to loses their bungalow, cars and other properties. As we have seen, there are no easy answer to this question. Credit card is one of blessing in new era. Credit card provides you the access to borrow money on some term and conditions. Getting money will gives you benefits in daily and long term basis however some with wrong planning it cause worse every day life. In my opinion credit card have more advantages than disadvantages.

Credit card gives you money which you don’t have, but you can use for a time being to meet your need even big expenses which you are not able to afford. For example air trip for vacation. In some instances credit card can also be used in case of emergencies. In this materialistic life no one wants to help other. Using credit card will also give the boost to economy and money will circulate.

On the other hand credit card is nightmare for personnel life. There should be a good planning required to borrow money and then spend on useful purposes. Some time people just borrowing the money without realizing that one day it have to be returned with interest. Debts can build easily but to turn down is quite hard. People lost their homes, cars and value able belonging after debts. This will also affects the economy.

In conclusion, it is suggested that credit card carry more advantages over disadvantage if person uses it in wise and smart way.

When I am reading other people's comments, I feel embarrassed about my work. There are some essays really awesome.
I still want to post my answer.haha

It is really common to get a credit card easily nowadays. However, some owners will suffer financial problems when they can't pay back their debts. so I think the disadvantages of credit cards far more overweigh the advantages.

Using credit cards does bring lots of convince to people on daily consumption. one is that a credit card gives you access to the money and the facility to pay it back later. In this case, this could be useful for emergencies or something expensive, like a luxury holiday. The other is that it is a safe way to pay no matter online shopping or going overseas, while it is risky to take larges mount of money. In addition to this, customers could get discounts in some shopping malls in terms of saving money. For example, some cinemas offer half price tickets if customers are paying by credit cards, from which bank they deal with.

However, it could't ignore the disadvantages it has taken to owners. Credit cards encourage customers to spend money they do not have in reality. If less self-control person using a credit card, they might consume goods that they do not need. When the debts were built up and they couldn't pay back, it would leave people in real financial difficulties. As a consequence, people might lose their homes, jobs, the bank lost money, and the whole economy suffers.

For my view, before applying a credit card, it is better to have a deep consideration. The bank are responsible to identify whether the applier has the ability to pay the debts back.

In this world of commercialism, it is true that obtaining a credit card is simple and easy as long as you are qualified of having it.However, the wrong usage of credit card problem may now exist, paying back of debts are difficult. In my opinion, the disadvantages of credit card far outweigh the advantages.

Credit card may give convinience and benificial to everyone using it.It gives you an access to money and facility to pay it back later like a loan. This is also useful for emergency situation like for example: for hospitalization and for buying medicines when you have no cash on hand available.

Although, there are many advantages in using a credit card, we must still need to be cautious for the disadvantages brought by using a credit card.Since, it encourages people to spend more money they do not have, also many people may face the problem of building up debts and financial difficulties. When people cannot afford paying back their debts, everyone may suffer. Those in debts may lose their home, banks lose their money and the economy suffers too.

In conclusion, the innovation of credit cards have a great influence in this modern wold, it is necessary for everyone to learn using the credit cards more cautious and be more responsible.

Possessing a credit card has been an inevitable thing in the modern life. It's really simple to register and get a credit even without going to the bank. While many people find credit card useful and convenient, others struggle with suffering from debts overhead due to the incapability in pay loans back. Arguments have come up regarding the benefits and negative impacts of credit card in people who use it; however, I believe there are more advantages than disadvantages of credit card.

People use credit card for various reasons. Firstly, with a credit card, we can buy now and pay later at no additional cost as long as we pay money back by payment due date. Secondly, it's also a convenient and nice way to make a payment of something we buy instead of paying cash, not to mention the discount we receive from using credit card at selected department stores. Finally, we can buy things online safely, as well as go shopping in any foreign countries without needs to exchange any currencies. Speaking of economy in general and banking industry in specific, credit card play a tremendous part. The more people use credit card the better it is for the economy: that way more money is circulated, vendors and shops get to sell more goods and make an income.

Credit card seem to have some disadvantages too; however, I believe the problems caused by credit card are not something cannot be solved or prevented. The first problem we usually see is that a lot of people use credit card to buy to many things or a expensive item; because one person can possess more than one credit card, it's mean that we can spend a lot of money that we are not even able to pay it back in one or two months. Late payment fee is also another problem to build up the debts of credit card user. As a result, we suffer from debts: we lost our house, back lost money, and whole economy suffers. The original cause is that the bank want to increase profits from credit card so they are easy to accept credit card applicants. I believe debts can be avoided by increasing the credit of credit card user between bank system.

Where there are problems there can always be solutions. Credit card bring great amount of advantages for people in many ways. The very few problems caused can always be avoided or taken care of. I believe credit card should be highly promoted, especially in modern society where technology inside credit card help people have a better life.

It is true that people can buy anything via credit cards because it is very easy to apply for and be given. In my opinion, there are severe drawbacks that people suffer financial problems when they ues it frequently without any conscious.

There is no doubt the credit card is very practical when it comes to the convenience. Especially when you suffer with emergency situations or need to buy something expensive immediately, it certainly play an important role as your angel. In addition credit cards are to safe way to pay because it is locked personal password. Easy access to money means that people spend, and this benefits the economy truly.

However, credit cards is involved several disadvantages too. First big drawback is that encourage people to spend money that they do not have. So it means people are likely to over-spend easily even something they do not need. If people can not pay their debts back, everyone suffers; the banks lose money then the whole economy suffers. Moreover people may lose their houses and cars, in other words, everything will leave from their lives.

In conclusion, I am convinced that when people use their credit cards, they should aware whether it is efficient consumptions or not. Although the credit cards seem like really convenience in your life, you need to watch out because it is able to eat all your possession.

Nowadays it is easy to apply for and be given a credit card. However, some people experience problems when they are not be able to pay their debts back. In your opinion, do the advantages of credit cards outweigh the disadvantages?

Credit cards have become increasingly popular and it is all too easy to obtain one these days. Some people often end up with financial problems when they overspend with their credit cards. Even through, I still believe that the drawbacks of credit cards are outweighed by the benefits of them.

It is true that credit cards may bring troubles to some people. Having a credit card, people are given an opportunity to spend money they do not have and are allowed a minimal amount of monthly repayment. Some people, especially those who lack self-control, may find them in real financial difficulties when their debts build up and cannot repay them. As a result, they may end up losing their homes and their whole family will suffer from their reckless spending, which is often too later to regret.

On the other hand, credit cards can certainly help people in many ways. Firstly, credit cards give people access to money and the facility to pay it back later. This could be extremely helpful in case of emergencies. For example, when parents are short of money to pay their children’s tuition fees, they can use their credit card and pay the money back later. Secondly, people may find credit cards very convenient when they are traveling overseas. They can pay their accommodation, transportation and other things with credit cards needless of exchanging their money to foreign currencies. Lastly, the use of credit cards encourages consumption and stimulates economy. So, the whole society can benefit from it.

To sum up, while I accept that credit cards may be of certain risks for people who lack self-control, I tend to believe that the they do more good than harm to people and the society.

credit card is a new technology that people can used it in resent years. it's the product electronic technology, its important for several reasons,
firstly it safe and secure, people can buy expensive products with out need to carry any cash money that make them target to robbery, its easy way to access to the net any buy any thing easy, and its new way to receive and send money from any part of the world in any time,
on the other hand there are some disadvantage that makes the some still far a way from this tech, this kind of people who are older prefer to used the ordinary way when they deal with money\by going to bank and make all paper work and get money the money they want, those kind of people have less contact wit computer and technology.

Dear Simon, I've just known your website few days ago. I really want to improve my writing skill. This is my essay for that topic. Please read it and give me score. thanks a lot
Nowadays, It's easy to get a credit card, and most people are owning at least one. However, some people got trouble problems when they are not able to pay their debts back. While credit card has some advantages, the disadvantages of it seem to be outweigh.
Admittedly, credit card has some advantages. Firstly, credit card is useful in emergency situations such as when people forgot bringing cash, they can use credit card to make a payment. Furthermore, most of airline companies tend to sell tickets online, so people have to pay by credit card or visa. They don't accept for using cash, since then credit card could be a best choice is this case. As a result, using credit card is convenient, and it becomes a great solution in a risk time.
Beside some advantages, credit card also has some drawbacks. An reason for it, when people trade frequently by credit card, they may lose their control of paying for shopping or traveling. They might pay more than the actual money that they have, so the consequence is they are living in debts. It's hard to pay completely their loans in a short time. In addition, the important result when people are not able to pay their debts is they would lose homes, the banks lose money as well. More seriously, the whole economy could be going down.
In conclusion, even making a payment by credit card has some advantages, but it also has a lot of disadvantages. In my opinion, I discourage people from using regularly credit card. Becoming wise consumers to avoid debts and giving a hand to develop the economy.

this is my essay

Growing technology has positive impact on the banking system and hence traditional banking system changed dramatically. There are lot new products developed, for instance credit cards. While I believe that credit cards have many advantages, at the same time it has equal disadvantages.
On the one hand, Credit cards have many advantages like it provides easy access of money from any part of world, so it is more convenient way of paying, For example, while holidaying in other country rather than carrying cash, credit card is the best option. It also provides facility to pay in foreign currency. Credit cards are like loans which are quickly approved by bank. Payment through credit card is secure when compared to carrying money with us, as there is chance of losing it. Further, credit cards provide some benefits like carrier insurance and warranty; discount on products.it also gives some reward points where we can utilize them in shopping.
On the other hand, Using Credit cards have some disadvantages. For instance people spend money which they do not have, as a result customers become indebted to the credit card provider and so they drive to bankruptcy. it weakens the self-regulation, for example Most of people likely to spend more money when they pay by credit card, Moreover, credit cards have high fees and intrest charges; thereby it is difficult for the customers to pay. Sometimes there are fraudulent transactions through credit cards, where people have to pay more money.
Overall, Credit cards are very useful to the customers when it is used in a controlled and balanced way. They also help to economy. One should be cautious while using credit cards.

It is an indisputable fact that a lot of people prefer to use credit cards instead of cash for one reason or another, which shows that credit cards are attracting people more. In other words, credit cards play an important role in our lives. Some people believe that using a credit card has disadvantages. However, as a credit card user, I do not agree with those who think so, and I think the benefits of using a credit card outweigh the drawbacks and the advantages will be discussed in this essay.

One of the benefits is that a credit card enables you to access money and the facility to pay it back later, like a loan. Besides that, this could be useful for emergencies or something expensive, such as a holiday, an expensive gift and durable good. To illustrate, a friend of mine who wants to buy a special gift for his wife for their wedding anniversary didn’t have enough cash. Thanks to a credit card, he bought a nice gift for his wife easily.

Another benefit is that credit cards are a safe way to pay. In other words, people don’t need to carry a lot of money in their wallets. On the other hand, many people can use it for shopping and buying a lot of things online easily. For example, I have always used my credit card online shopping.

All in all, although some people believe that using a credit card has more drawbacks than benefits, I think that credit cards offer us access to money and are a safe way to pay.

can someone please give feedback on my writing?

Currently, it is very straightforward to obtain a credit card. In spite of this, for some people, the problem arises when thir debts run up high. In my view, the disadvantages of credit card far outweigh the advantages.
On the one hand, credit cards give people access to money and the facility to use it and pay back later, like a loan. This could be used for emergencies or something expensive, like holidays. In addition, credit cards are a safer way to pay, as cards are fully insured and there is very less chance of money getting stolen. Furthermore, using credit cards and paying back on time helps build good credit history which can help people in getting mortgages.
Nevertheless, the serious problems associated with the use of credit card are of far greater importance. Firstly, credit cards encourage people to spend money they do not have. People get tempted to buy expensive stuff that they cannot otherwise afford, which leaves them with debt. Secondly, as credit cards have high interest rates, paying back is not easy, as a result debts build up and leave the person in real financial crisis. Finally, when individuals are unable to pay back their debts on time eventually everyone suffers. Those in debt can lose their homes, banks lose money and whole economy suffers.
In conclusion, this growing trend of getting credit cards easily is dangerous in many respects. Use of credit cards has far greater disadvantages than advantages for almost individuals and economy as a whole.

Credit card becomes an important tool for human life and it’s becoming more common to use those cash advance methods than before. Nonetheless, there are benefits and disadvantages for using credit card. In my opinions, I think the advantages of credit card is overcome the harm from credit card.

Most of the people complain about credit cards encourage people to spend money they do not have and spend on those things they cannot afford. Debts can build up and leave people in real financial difficulties easily. When people failure to pay their debts back, everyone suffers. Not only affecting the person, but also their family members, such as lead to lose their homes for cover the bills. If the person does not have any assets for pay back, the banks lose money and influence the whole economic of the society.

In another hand, a credit card provides lots of convenience for daily life. A credit card gives you access to money and the facility to pay it back later, like a loan. It’s more easily to keep record for all your household expense and only need to pay once after you received the bank statement. Moreover, this could be useful for buying something expensive in a safe way to pay. Besides, easy access to money means that people spend, which benefit the economy as well.

In conclusion, there is no absolute answer about it that good to using credit card because this is a dilemma situation. Everything is a double-edged sword and it’s depend how people using it.

Hi, can anyone mark this writing for me, or give me some advice and correction about grammar, many thanks!

It is true that people can acquire credit cards easily in this day and age. Be that as it may, however, some card holders do not have sufficient money to pay back their debts. To my way of thinking, there are benefits as well as drawbacks in equal measure.
There are any number of reasons why, as far as I can see, that people can be benefited from having credit cards. Head and shoulders above all others is that credit cards provide money in advance and pay back later. This could be useful for emergencies or something expensive, such as a holiday. On top of this, credit cards are a safe way to pay. People prefer to use credit cards. This can also benefit the economy.
By the same token, however, there is no shortage of drawbacks why, to the best of my knowledge, that credit cards can impact those card holders. The one that springs immediately to my mind is that some people spend too much money and fail to pay them back. Those people who are in debt may lose their houses. Added to this is the fact that the interest charges of credit cards are very high. Debts can build up and leave people in financial difficulties.
To my own experience, I enjoy a lot of benefits of using my credit card. I can buy something before I receive my salary. However, I am always very careful with my debts and pay them back on time.
When all is said and done, there are both merits and shortcomings to every aspect in our lives, both individuals and as a society. This issue is no different to any other in that respect.

Credit card is certainly easy to apply nowadays and it surely makes payment system in this world much easier. Despite having many advantages, credit card also has many disadvantages that we must consider before we use it.
Credit card gives us an easy access to money which is very useful in the case of emergency or when we must provide a large amount of money immediately but we cannot afford to make it. In the world where distrust grows larger, credit card offers a safe method to pay and to lend money. With credit card, people can shop at the internet at ease because it has multiple identity verification. Besides that, credit card also has a very low interest which makes credit card a good creditor.
On the other hand, credit card can be very destructive if people do not control themselves. Credit card encourages people to spend money on things they do not need and if they do not stop themselves, debt will be their problem. When people cannot pay their debts back, those in this problem will be in bankruptcy. Poverty is one of the major factors of criminality in this world. Therefore, credit card indirectly involves in the increasing of criminality rate in this world.
In conclusion, credit card is a very powerful and useful tool in this modern world. It helps many people and it increases the trust level for e-business. This powerful tool can be very destructive if it is given to the wrong hands, people who cannot control their desire and differentiate the priority or their needs.

Plastic money is growing day by day in our society. Some people believe that easy to claim credit card from banks. Although other suggest it become harder to pay back outstanding to banks. In my view, limited use of credit card can save from difficult situation rather than unlimited expenditures make out of control debits.

Now a day’s bank offers attract people for credit money, as a part of their daily life. Plastic money is getting more secure and reliable interns of safety. People can use them in outward conditions like their food and utilities bills as well as during any travelling. Almost every place they accept the credit or debit cards even they give some benefits while using these plastic cards. Although, sometimes it hard to pay back.

Some economist consider that unlimited use of credit card make people in more bad shape debit situations. Initially, they try to use for some special conditions but later the attraction of artificial benefits trap them and people cannot save their limits at the end they have to pay back via sale of their properties or other valuable items to avoid Jail or any other kind of penalties. In spite of real use of credit cards, it comes up with new issue and trouble for the user.

In my opinion, today the tremendous use of credit cards is a major root cause of bank corrupt, which is the disaster of human life. Everything has some pros and cons which depend upon the circumstances of use. I well agree with the limited use of plastic money. Most of the time it is hard to keep cash same time plastic money can play their vital role.

Credit card becomes a popular means of payment in daily spend process of card holder. While it is recorded that it creates inconvenience and problem to the ones who do not pay back on due, I believe that it’s benefit to users are much more than its disadvantages.

On the one hand, credit card brings card holders undeniable benefit. Firstly, it lets users purchase, even running out pocket, products or service within a threshold which may be up to five times of monthly income then pay back to the bank who issue that credit card within a period of time which usually 45 days. Secondly, carrying a credit card is more convenient than cash. It also safer for users to carry credit cards than cash. Finally, owning a credit card proves that the owner has a good financial health and this is a fundamental factor to be considered when owners apply for loans by financial institutes.

However, credit card holders get troubles if they are unable to pay back amount they spent to card issuers. They have to pay high interest rate for overdue amount and receive warning messages from bank to urge them to clear outstanding amount. All transactions of card owners with card issuer are recorded and repositted in a centralized center and this information is shared with all financial institutions for referencing when consider lending loans. If bad records are in user profiles, they get difficult to get loans or good deals with banks. In addition, users worry about privacy. Their personal information is a target of crime who attempt to obtain credit card numbers then use it to purchase illegally.

In conclusion, it seems to me that benefit of using credit card is more significant than the possible dangers credit cards may bring.

Dear Simon,

Please check my essay below. do you think i would be able to get a band 7 in writing task 2 with it? please reply :D

It is very easy to get a credit card and then ran up debts which are difficult to pay back later on. While it is beneficial to use these credit cards, I highly believe that the disadvantages outweighs the advantages.

Many people believe that a credit card gives access to money and the opportunity to repay it later, just like a loan. They further contend that this could be a useful method of paying for emergency costs, buy something expensive or pay for a holiday trip. Also, they highly approved of it as a safer way to pay as there is no need to bring huge amount of cash and worry for its security. Lastly, as convenient as it is, easy access to money means that more people are encourage to spend more and thus, benefits the economy as a whole.

However, there are a number of people who argue that credit cards encourage people to spend more of what they cannot afford to pay. As a consequence, debts are piled up and continue to grow leaving people in real financial difficulties. Furthermore, when people cannot pay their debts back, everyone suffers; those in debt may loose their properties while the backs lose money and as a result, the whole economy suffers and worst, people with liabilities sometimes end in prison.

In the main, although using credit cards bring convenience to most people, the problem of debt will not be eliminated unless one have the discipline and utmost caution on proper spending.

TITLE: CREDIT CARD

Credit Card is an item given to the customer as a financial tool to access the usage of funds easily than queuing for banking transactions. The usage of Credit card has brought in the advantages and disadvantages in our community as discussed below.
There are several benefit of credit card including an easy access of financial loan which will be paid back later. Credit card serves as an emergency tool in case of financial crisis which requires immediate action for instance illness and in safest way to pay. This approach enables increased in economy since the community members can easily pay and thus use up a lot of money. Also the community member are secured psychologically when they are assured that their emergencies can be easily solved by usage of credit cards, this increases less burden of government incurring cost in police force due to reduced violence and health care settings as there will be less patients suffered from stressful illness such as depressions.
However the setbacks of using this payment method of credit card indicate that many people are encouraged to use the money which they don’t have. The method can lead the users into serious debts and leave individuals in adverse circumstances. The economy of the country and individual is devastated when there is failure in paying of debts occurred by poor usage of credit cards.
In my opinion the disadvantages of using the credit card outweigh the benefits as discussed above

Most banks today have reduced the formalities required for issuing a credit card but the inability to repay credit card debts has driven many into mounting financial difficulties.  Yet, I believe that this electronic credit facility is greatly advantageous to people, if handled with proper caution and prudence.

In the first place, credit cards have enabled people to handle their large financial emergencies without strain and pay back the money later in easy installments.  For example, if an individual has an unforeseen hospital expense as a result of an accident or illness he can use his card to borrow money without going to a bank or approaching another person.

Moreover, people can travel without mental stress or anxiety about any unexpected crisis. For instance, people who travel abroad often experience difficulties like, unexpected cancellation, delay of flights and loss of luggage.  On such occasions people can easily make use of credit cards to pay the extra money they need.

Nevertheless, if people are not able to repay their credit card interest on time they could end up in serious financial troubles.  This usually occurs when people borrow money beyond their expected weekly or monthly income or engage in excessive shopping using this facility.  Besides, some people are less conscious about the amount of money they spend or the date of repayment.  The above points clearly show that credit cards cause financial liabilities when people use them unwisely or without discretion.

I summary, credit cards have proven to be extremely beneficial to people in terms of managing their financial emergencies.  If people use them with greater care, they can effectively overcome the negative impacts to a large extent.

Anyone please help to comment on my writing,
Thanks before

It is true that obtaining credit cards are easier these days, but some people have bad experienced with the cards as they cannot pay the outstanding debts. In my opinion, credit cards have more positive aspects than the negatives for those who can control the cards.

On the one hand, credit cards have many useful functions for those who could manage it well. Firstly, the cards can be used as deposit for any urgent situation. When someone got an accident and must be threat in a hospital urgently, the hospital commonly request some advance payment and the card can be use as a deposit. Secondly, nowadays it is common to see that restaurants and retailer shops give special discounts for credit cards settlements. Some shops even offer an long installment period with low interest rate or give point rewards which can be exchanged with various gifts. Lastly, it is safer and easier to travel overseas by bringing credit cards. Most credit cards are internationally accepted therefore it won’t be necessary for the traveler to bring a lot of cash.

On the other hand, many people confront serious problems with credit card debts. It was mostly due to their disciplinary shopping habits, such as overspent for unnecessary items such as luxurious goods or electronic devices, but they blame it on the cards. Furthermore, their monthly incomes were not sufficient to pay the bills, and they could only pay the minimum payment requirements. As a consequence, the outstanding balances were carried forward to the following months and charged with high interest rate.

In conclusion, credit cards have their own positive and negative sides but I personally think they have more benefits than the drawbacks for those who use the cards wisely.
