Good grammars:

We are bombarded with
Many of which we do not need
People may be persuaded to

This could be seen as a demonstration that
It seems to be too materialistic

Dear Simon,
You have made the best use of vocabularies and grammar range in your sentences.

Some words are used to emphasize and I think they make our writings attractive to examiners:
Perfectly, still, too much, even

A question: Is it a good idea to use passive forms more than active forms in writing?

i would like u practice in English speaking if u want then pls add in my skpe id bindu1002

Dear Simon,
Thank you so much for your great assistance to us, Here are some phrases which seem as 'band 7-9 vocabulary' to me:

People criticize modern society,
We are bombarded with advertising,
Their phone is perfectly functional,
We are obsessive consumers.

I copied this essay from my email. It looks that my friend's email had been hacked by intruders. I like the language and I think it is useful for General ielts candidates.

Hello Dear

Hope you got this on time,I went on an urgent business trip to Spain. Unfortunately i was mugged at the park of the hotel where i stayed, all cash, credit card and my cell phone were stolen but luckily for me i still have my passports with me.

I have been to the embassy and the Police here but they're not helping issues at all and my flight leaves in less than 23 hrs from now but the hotel manager won't let me leave until i settle the bills.

I need help urgently,so i can be able to get back immediately and continue my business. I have talked with the hotel manager but she insist they don't accept a third party credit card. She further explained that the only method of payment they accept at the moment is cash. i have no access in making or receiving calls, the only option right now in contacting anyone is via email and as am writing to you right now, i am just here sitting in a public library waiting for mails to come in and so tensed up here that i can't even think because my state of mind is restless.

All I need now to settle my hotel bills and some other expenses.Let me know if you can have it sent via western union because it is the only option i have here and it is the easiest and fastest way one can pick up funds. Please let me know if this works out for you so that i can forward you details on how to get it and once i am back to the country i promise to reimburse you

Thanks & Regards

Thank you very much.

Sir,can you check this line
-
"It is an irresistible fact that since times immemorial, many people have been criticizing the modern societies."

Is it need any improvement?
Is it good starting for introduction?
Can we use the different words like irresistible fact, irrefutable fact, undening the fact in the starting of introduction?
