1.) it is false because people are worried about their work and life. so i feel that they are much concerned about economics.

I have done many of ur tests given in this site they are very very helpful but somehow i still feel that i am confused about False and NotGiven. Its because i am not able to understand the meaning of the sentence since its been asking in a different way in the questions.

Thanks Simon.

Note: a few people asked about the phrase "wide of the mark". It means "not correct" and is quite a normal phrase / idiom in English.

Thanks to those of you who complimented the site and my lessons. I'm glad you find them useful.

Hi Leo,

Both are fine. All reading is good practice.

Hi Avani,

Yes, the difference between false and not given is difficult for everyone. Try to analyse the 'false' and 'not given' answers in my exercises or in the Cambridge IELTS books. The more you practise and analyse answers, the more comfortable you'll become with these questions.
