I think most people got B and C, but D was the tricky one!

He did say that it helps to be old (related to more experience and having more examples).

E is wrong because he compared teachers to chess players. He didn't say they ARE chess players.

F is wrong because he said that STUDENTS pay more attention to good teachers (the question is the wrong way round).

Most people can't recognise the correct for the third choice, only two of us see that, that quesion is really tricky. Ideally, thanks you so much Simon.

I just had the third answer the other way arround. I assume he says "you don't have to be getting old for this". What a big mistake!

Hi Fiona,
I have heard exactly the same sentence,which you wrote( first time)But after reading correct answer from Simon,by next listening I'got this real sentence-it helps to be old.
And now,the f seems to be obviously wrong,as we are talking about the attention given to good teachers,not to students.
We must be really concentrated,focused on what we are listening and additionally to read the question,very carefully.

Don't feel too bad if you didn't get D. The line for it was spoken very fast, and especially if you were listening through low-wattage speakers like laptop speakers, it's hard to make out what he said.
