Another one is for sentence 5. May I omit "about"?

I am questioning about the sentence in the introduction you wrote above.

In the sentence, you say " per household", and as far as I know, household is countable noun. Therefore, it seems to me that it has to be written "per a household" if you meant car ownership for each family in the UK. Would you advise me to understand that? Thank you for your time
