I just got my ielts result and here is it :

Overall 7.5 ( speaking 6.5 / listening 7.0 / reading 8.5 / writing 8.5 )

Compared to my last result : overall 6.0 ( speaking 5.5 / listening 6.5 / reading 6.5 / writing 6.0 )

Good things are I learn my reading and writing mostly from your site. You were the only teacher I had during my preparation time,and perhaps the only one I ever needed. THank you very much for your kind support, that is invaluable to students like me.
I guess I won't visit your site often like before, so I wish you all the great success with every amazing thing you are doing.

To all self-study students like me : I improved my band score after nearly 3 months of self-studying and online support. As you can see, my band has been increased by 2.5 ( someone on the internet said that it takes 6 months of intense study to gain 0.5 band ) - I see this not true. Therefore, be confident in what you are doing, I hope you guys all the best

That would be great if you feel free to share your essay that scores 8.5. It is, as I suppose, very difficult to create band-9 writings as teacher Simon does. However, reaching 8.0 or 8.5 as is proved by your significant effort, is possible. I would like to see how you applied Simon's to yours and learn it from you.

Here Iv written the tape script and I think I made some mistakes . Could you please have a look on it and correct it.
I do apologize for taking you time.

On the day the test you need to take these with you , your photo driving license you need both part of this your theory test pass certificate and your appointment letter on booking number.
If you go now start paper license you also need to take valid passport with you remember this or you're able to take a test. when you get to the test centre your examiner check you through your paper work in waiting room they also ask you if you in driving instructor or a company driver to come with you on test and be there on the end of result of feedback . This is beneficial for driving development so dont forget to talk to instructor and make sure they know this like what you like to happen. Your test last about 38 to 40 minutes go and do on eyesight check be answered safety questions and then go out on the road . You drive on very own traffic conditions and also be asked independently for approximately 10 minutes other by following traffic signs or series of a variable direction or perhaps accommodation both.

You don't really have time to take notes. Try to read the questions during the breaks between sections, and try to answer each question as you listen.

Dear Simon, It would be my honor to play a part in your job, I'm totally fine with it :)

Dear everyone who asked me for my writing sample,
I would love to send you my piece of writing if I have it here. As you know, the only thing I got was my result report including no test materials :)
Apart from the test, I have a lot of writing tasks that I did during my preparation time. However, all of them have not been checked by any teacher, so I'm not totally sure about their accuracy. I got an 8.5 thanks to luck also as the topic fitted what I studied.
Here are my tips for self-learners in reading : learn how to speed-read, read everything you see quickly without pacing back. This is hard at the beginning as you cannot understand well but as you read more, you will find your way to understanding. Also, enhance your vocabulary. However, don't try to learn every new words you see, just the ones which meaning seem to be useful and can be used in certain contexts.

In writing, if you know how to follow a pattern of writing, it's not too difficult to get a band 8 ( I followed the pattern of mr.Simon and it worked ). If you don't have a teacher, type what you write in microsoft word so that you can see your spelling mistake, count your words and easily send it to someone. Choose critical things you are not sure about to ask someone ( I asked mr.Simon ). During my preparation time, each day I did one task ( task 1 or 2 ). Pick a time in the day that you feel most relax to write because it is when you learn best :) . ALL THE BEST LUCK !
